Glad to hear you are interested in Civilian Marksmanship Program(CMP) competition.
There is no registration requirement for the Falcon Range events hosted by Frontier Sportsman's Club. You do not need to be a member of Frontier Sportsman's club, but you must familiarize yourself with and practice the Falcon Range rules. Falcon range details.
The entry fee is $10 per person.

On the day we shoot, you will need:
- a rifle you are capable of safely firing 10 times in 60 seconds,
- at least two magazines/clips for the stages with a reload
- at least 50 rounds of ammunition.
If you choose to sight in before the match(the only chance to sight in at the match) you will need an appropriate amount of additional ammunition.
M1 Garand, M1A and M16(AR-15) style weapons are favorites, but the choice is yours. We do not strictly adhere to CMP rules on eligible weapons(magnified sights and bi-pods are allowed, there are no weight restrictions, etc.). A shooting pad and sling are recommended, but not required.
There is a one hour sight in and zero adjustment period before the match starts. But please verify that you are on paper before the morning of the match; you must be on paper (42" x 40" target) when you arrive, or for safety reasons your rifle will be ineligible for the competition. Each shooter will paste their own target between stages and keep their own score.
The targets we use are the NRA SR target, and optionally the NRA SR42 and MR-52.

All strings are shot at 200yds, with the optional "reduced" targets used to simulate shooting the prone rapid and prone slow fire stages at distances of 300yds and 600yds respectively. The Reduced targets are optional and many shoot all four strings on the same SR target.
